A reputable Merchant Shop in Surulere, Lagos State is looking to recruit suitable candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cashier

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Work in a POS Merchant shop around Surulere, Lagos.
  • Provide a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service.
  • Registers sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing and totaling customers' purchases.
  • Resolves customer issues and answers questions.
  • Bags purchases if needed.
  • Processes return transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure pricing is correct
  • Issue change, receipts, refunds, or tickets
  • Redeem stamps and coupons
  • Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
  • Make sales referrals, cross-sell products and introduce new ones
  • Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
  • Handle cash, credit or check transactions with customers

Qualifications

  • Candidate should possess either SSCE or OND qualification
  • Must be residing within Surulere, Lagos state.
