Job Title: Cashier

Job Description

  • We are currently looking for versatile, intelligent and energetic restaurant cashiers with passion for delivering outstanding service to join our professional and friendly team.
  • This person will be responsible for providing passionate, charming and attentive service delivery tall customers according tour service standards in order to ensure guest satisfaction, responsible for the receipt of all payments of purchases, sales and lodgment as may be designated by the management.
  • He/she keeps accurate cash recording, must also ensure proper and accurate recording of customer’s order and handle cash to process the transaction. The cashier also monitors all payments and financial transactions of the food service staff and the eatery. The Cashier must be able to listen when customers have problems or concerns with their orders and respond to their questions appropriately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures customers are attended tin a courteous and friendly manner and swift resolution is given to their issues/complaints
  • Ensures sales entries are correctly entered and receipts are issued to customer
  • Maintain excellent level of hygiene at all the time
  • Must be knowledgeable about the company products
  • Must possess suggestive selling skills

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE
  • Maximum of OND
  • Experience in the hospitality industry could be an added advantage but not compulsory
  • Must be between 18-25 years old
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Should have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Listening skills.
  • Cash handling skills.
