The Place is a trademark of Smackers Limited. It is a profitable player in the QSR industry in Nigeria with great prospects and staff strength of +1400 employees. Currently, our operations span across 17 locations (15 stores and 4 central operation units) in Lagos, Nigeria, with rapid expansion plans to penetrate more locations in the short to medium term.

Our current management team consists of experienced hands with over 60 years of experience that spans industry as well as management consulting in foremost multinational professional services companies.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cake Maker and Designer

Location: Lekki Phase I, Lagos, Nigeria
Job Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Develop different recipe for cake
  • Actively follow cake production trend and implement
  • Active implement latest design on cake
  • Carry out other baking activity such as pastry
  • Report to unit for latest development

Qualifications

  • First degree in any discipline from a reputable university.
  • Certification in cake making from a reputable institute.
  • Minimum of two years’ work experience relevant role.
  • Ability to analyses and present information.
  • Knowledge and experience of cake making and design.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills as well as time management skills to accomplish his/her responsibilities.
  • Ability to survive in a dynamic and flexible working environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure.
