Merrybellys Nigeria Limited was registered in 2016, and began operations in May 2017. It was set up mainly for the purpose of providing convenient retail and wholesale services of consumable products to individuals and corporate organizations.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Baker / Pastry Chef

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries and baked items for large number of customers.
  • Hygienic handling of equipment and food stuff
  • Ensure proper storage of all inputs in refrigerators and freezers.
  • Assist to achieve overall business forecasted sales and profit targets.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to use all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and so on
  • Proper understanding of food safety practices
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude
  • Must be able to work in early morning shifts
  • Certification from a culinary school is an added advantage

Qualifications and Skills

  • SSCE / NECO / OND / HND
  • 2- 3 years’ experience as a Baker, Pastry Che for similar role
