A leading independent Oil Exploration and Production company in Nigeria requires the services of experienced and dynamic candidates for the position below:
Job Title: Assistant Cook
The Job holder will assist the cook in the preparation and serving of food in Company locations including plating and garnishing of food items.
Assist in the cooking of foods and baking of pastry products
Provide support in ensuring that galley personnel and food preparation meet hygiene requirements.
Assist with the preparation of item for broiling, grilling, sautéing or other cooking methods
Responsible for general maintenance of the kitchen utensils, cleaning pots and pans, Etc.
Performs other related duties as may be assigned by the cook
Assists with the preparation and serving of meals
Assists with the loading and unloading of supplies
Qualifications and Required Competencies
WASC / Senior Secondary School Certificate.
A minimum of five (5) years of operational experience in a reputable E& P company with a proven track record of production and operations management.
Must possess basic catering, food handler and hygiene certificates
Must be strong and physically fit.
Basic Offshore Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) arid Offshore Medical Certificate will be required
Valid Offshore Medical Certificate
First Aid Certificate
Must possess ability to execute projects and be able to work under pressure.
Must be result oriented and committed to company goals.
