Proforce Limited has Utilized Its superior craftsmanship to produce outstanding products using only Internationally Certified Ballistic Standard Materials (CEN Level B7/NIJ IV, CEN B6/NIJ III) and Military Standards STANAG 4569 Level 2/2A/2B.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accounts Officer - Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul

Location: Ode-Remo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Accounts Officer is responsible for providing financial, administrative services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial operations.
  • She/he must comply with established accounting policies and procedures.
  • An account officer is responsible to look after the financial part of a firm or a particular company.
  • He is also given the responsibility of financial planning and record-keeping of account

Job Description

  • The main purpose of an account officer is to analyse financial activities
  • Collect invoices/bills and make payments ensuring the prevailing financial rules and regulations of Practical Action
  • Prepare bank drafts and arrange for fund transfers against the payment of instalments to partners and other service providers as necessary
  • Calculate tax and other deductions to deduct from source while making payment
  • Process the travel and other expenditure claims complying the policies and procedures
  • Make salary payment on time and provide salary transfer notice staff members
  • Handle petty cash
  • Enter financial data into computerized accounting system and run reports
  • Provide accounting services to the concerned, especially the status of budget and expenditure
  • Keep Practical and informed of changes to accounting system/ structure/ procedures through training/presentation
  • Keep financial documents and records to meet the Group and subsidiaries requirements
  • Keep liaison with the bank and other government institutions in Finance functions
  • Maintain filing of Finance area
  • Undertake any other duties as directed by the MRO Manager.

Qualifications

  • First Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or any Social sciences.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant post-graduation experience.
  • Membership or Student member of Account professional body (ICAN, ACCA etc)

  • Proven experience as an Account Officer
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • An analytical mind with problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Being adaptable and self-driven
  • Problem Solving / Analysis.

Non-Technical:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 Monthly.
