Job Title: Accounts Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Description

  • This role will assist to manage the company's financial records; work under the direction of an Accounting Manager to ensure effective and regular communication with clients and proper management of accounting records.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and processing invoices.
  • Cross-checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy.
  • Managing a company's account payable and receivable.
  • Sending bills and invoices to clients
  • Tracking organization expenses
  • Processing refunds.
  • Working with collection agencies on overdue payments.
  • Communicating with clients regarding billing and payments.

Competency / Skill / Requirements

  • 1st Degree from any reputable university in finance/accounting related fields
  • 1-3 years of work experience in related function
  • Strong numeracy.
  • The use of the software is an added advantage.
