Job Title: Accountant

Location: Calabar, Cross River
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Match posted invoices with physical invoices
  • Postpayments, invoiceson a daily basis
  • Manage the return process by capturing and validating customer returns on the ERP
  • Provide updates and review of sales analysis on daily basis
  • Assist in providing updates for all due customers & suppliers invoices
  • Providing daily report on goods returned at the point of supply as noted by the officer in charge and making necessary adjustment before payment to such supplier.
  • Provide report on clients statement of account to sales team and management
  • Cheque lodgements
  • Monitor due invoices of clients, reach out to the clientsand also notify the sales team
  • Manage calendar receivables
  • Participate in monthly stock taking
  • Stock balance
  • Track holding average time per supplier
  • Track and give a report of all slow moving products (products not sold in over a month)
  • Supplier invoice organization and filing
  • Any other duties as required

Qualifications

  • B.Sc Degree in Accounting
  • A minimum of 3 years post NYSCwork experienceas an Accountant
  • Must be resident in Calabar
  • Must possess analytical skills
  • Detail oreinted
  • Well organized
