We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We seek for immediate employment the service of a very experienced Accountant

Responsibilities

  • To assist the General manager in keeping daily records of financial transactions
  • To keep regular financial books
  • To monitor daily entries on the sage software and ensure minimal errors
  • To develop, organize and conduct regular in-house training for staff to learn basic accounting skills
  • To ensure that the company is up-to-date on tax fillings and avoid unnecessary penalties
  • To report to the GM any case of financial discrepancies
  • To report and suggest checks to prevent cash leakage
  • To be encouraging and provide needed support to the front desk staff
  • To prepare weekly sales reports, expenditure statements and to uphold the company’s values of integrity and honesty and be accountable for errors made
  • To help develop business process to create better accounting systems
  • Knowledge of digital tools for effective accounts
  • To provide our external auditors with information upon request.

Requirements

  • B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
  • 2 - 3 years work experience as an Accountant
  • Ability to speak and understand Hausa would be an added advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.

Salary
N50,000 Monthly.
