We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Preparing accounts and tax returns
  • Monitoring spending and budgets
  • Auditing and analyzing financial performance
  • Financial forecasting and risk analysis
  • Advising on how to reduce costs and increase profits
  • Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports
  • Ensure that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations
  • Keeping account books and systems up to date.
  • Form-M computation and Forex transaction
  • LC / Bills computation and financial accounting statements
  • Liaison with FIRS & LIRS as well as good knowledge of Insurance
  • General ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Cash book summary and bank reconciliation.

Requirements

  • B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Economics or any related field of study
  • 4 - 6 years relevant working experience in a fast paced environment
  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
  • Proven experience with accounting software packages, like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
