ACE Human Resources Consulting - Our client is a non-profit Professional Body set up in 1969 to cater for the interest and propagation of the Landed and Valuation Profession in Nigeria.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Assistant

Ref Id: AA09
Location: Abuja

Responsibilities

  • Receiving payments through POS, cheques, tellers and cash (where applicable) and issuing them receipts accordingly
  • Book-keeping and general accounting
  • Creating and maintaining spread sheets
  • Performing clerical work and interoffice support including receiving and processing mail
  • Invoicing and reconciliation for varying departments
  • Maintaining and promoting excellent vendor relations
  • Ensure timely postings of all payments and update of members' records.
  • Ensure successful upload of payments into the membership software.
  • Handling of cash imprests for the National Secretariat and any other cash disbursements.
  • Monthly preparation of staff salary and ensuring that all deductions are properly done and necessary memos raised
  • Responsible for all cheques and cash for banking.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Head, Accounts.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • BSc / HND in Accounting or any related discipline
  • 2-3 years of experience in a related role
  • Smart and must be a Fast learner.
